Very nice way of writing u got there. Especially the part where you said "Yes, I have cancer but cancer doesn't have me. Okay? ". That was really a point made there. One thing I would like to say is, more than gathering a time to fight against our enemy during hard times, it would be best to gather a team that would sustain each other with great support and love towards ourselves. Keep writing and I would love to read more from you :)

I should say I was so engrossed in the story that I was unaware of what was happening around. A really good plot. Will definitely read more from you.

I am not a big expert in poems but I definitely enjoyed reading your poem. I like the way how it all rhymes nicely :) The genre of romance is something so vast. It kindles so many emotions in just one person at different times in different situations. I like how you brought one such emotion in this poetry of yours. Do keep writing! All the best!

I happened to be looking through the contest listings when I came across you piece. I am not so sure how much your piece relates to the contest criteria as I am also new to WDC. However on its own, your piece definitely got me interested. I like the way how you have created a sense of attachment towards the oak tree. Personally environmental issues are things that should be given a lot of attention to and I can confidently say that your writing has in one way contributed the cause. Keep writing!
