to be honest i found this a little boring, without any real intensity or excitment. Some descriptions were stating the obvious and not leaving anything to the readers imagination. However, i feel that there was some good use of words, but improvements can be made to make this more enjoyable as i believe fairytales should be.
I found this to be a great short story. Very easy to read with simple descriptions. I usually find that i cant finish reading them because they tend to uninterest me but this was different.
I felt for Krysla as you painted her as a caring and sensitive woman, if not quite sad and lonesome. I wanted to read on until the end to see what was going on with her and what would happen, also.
One point to pull you up on is that i didnt think the story had much substance; not really exciting nor anything surprising happening; just to the point with a plain beginning, middle and end.
The main character carried the story and she is what made me want to read on so it was a little shame she had to pass away, but the conclusion was still quite satisfying, if a bit morbid.
Your writing style made it an easy and simple read; lovely for the afternoon, (english time)..thank you.......well written..!!!
Just to add, i thought that what you wrote at the end about living/ existing was true to the theme of the story and true to the main character aswell.
I agree with you..you should never give up hoping for a fairy tale ending but it takes dedication to somebody you find who is a good person, and them to you also.......just think this ends a little aruptly because it states that you have finally found your fairy tale ending in your mid- life but do not say how or why that is, which could be interesting....its like watching a film that ends without the characters known whereabouts or what happened after some sort of conflict.......nice read all the same.
