Review Style
I tend to be highly technical, with a focus on things like grammar, sentence structure, spelling, word use, etc. My history is in academic (graduate-level) writing. If you are looking for feedback on particular parts of your writing, I'm more than happy to help you out. I try to follow this format when giving a review: What is Wrong What is Missing What Isn't Clear What Doesn't Make Sense I try to keep my opinion of what it "should" be to myself, but if you ask, I'll be glad to tell you.

Review of Albedo

I have learned a new word! I can quit for the day!
Seriously, though, I don't know much about poetry other than the "rules" that I learned in elementary school some 30+ years ago. Due to that, I can't really comment on the form. That will be my homework.

Now, I am intrigued by the play of light and dark vs fruit and rind. I think it's a skillful play on the two different definitions of the word.

Emotionally, this strikes me as more sad than anything else, tinged with some regret for what could have been. Two very different people have acted and reacted against each other and are now moving apart.

All that being said, I applaud the subject for their willingness to open themselves to experience even though they seem to know that it was a risky prospect.
