I too enjoy laying in the sun and I know the pain the winters can bring.
Trust me being from the north, we get a lot of snow here. We are the state the looks like a mitten. The on-going joke is, our state looks like a mitten because you usually need them a lot of the time. But our summers when they are here (at last) are so breath taking.
I enjoyed your piece.

Very unique piece of work. I too write poetry and I like untraditional styles.Poetry is like art, it can take on a different meaning for each individual. It's good to share different styles, other people get a better idea as a writer seeing that not every line has to rhyme.
Keep up the good work and keep writing, and continue to keep sharing. I am not a very good critic but I do believe this was a very interesting piece of work.
