Great poem that highlights the love and sacrifices made during war.

I like the constant refrain of "I'll see you soon." It really adds weight to what she is going through on her own as he is off fighting.

Enjoyable read.

Thank you,
God bless.

Review of What Am I To You?

Wow. I feel the heartbreak in this poem. Beautiful, haunting words. Well-crafted poem.

I liked how you contrasted the person and their beautiful words with their actions showing how they really felt about the person in the poem.

Great piece!

God bless.

Review of Unbroken

Enjoyed it very much!

For the most part, it flowed very well. There was one line that was kind of confusing.

"Your hero is your strength our mother and best friend I can feel her spirit coming near"

It could just be me, but the readability was difficult.

Other than that, it was an encouraging read.

Keep up the good writing!

God bless.

Enjoyed the poem.

I liked the technical aspects of it, and the somber tone of the poem.

Once upon a time there was a red bicycle. Every day, the bicycle would be ridden by its small owner to school or to play. One day, the boy stepped into the driver’s seat of a red car, started it, and pulled past the bicycle and onto the road, leaving it behind. Because of that, it sat and rusted under the sun. Until one day, a man drove up in a red car and parked behind the rusted bicycle. He picked up the bicycle and meticulously removed the rust and repainted the sturdy, red frame. He then called the name of a child who quickly came over and stood beside him.
“Happy birthday, son."

Review of VALYA

Oh wow. This felt like it was told by one of the only children to survive through adulthood and into old age as they reminisced.

I really enjoyed this work. Honestly, it reminds me of a mix between a flashback in "It's A Wonderful Life" and the overall feel from "The Sandlot."

Review of They sing for us

Very well-written poem.

The imagery presented is haunting. I feel the foreboding dread as the oceans fill with blood. Your paragraphs flow well from one to the next.

And I liked how you juxtaposed the glee of the people with the groaning of the oceans. Superb.
