Good story. Very easy read.
You might want to work on discriptive details more. Describe the attic as she walks into the room. Try picturing the room in your head, then dicribe what you see. You descbribed the chest really well. " Old, dark, browm." Try using stuff like that to discribe the saroundings in your story. Continue writing, please.
