I wanted to say I am proud of you and to be here to encourage you. After 20 years of cutting you are very brave to put your feelings into
words and share them. The hardest thing in all this world it to stand before others Soul Naked and to say... This is really who I am.
I am a cutter... some people will say
" I use to cut"
I can't do that while it has been 6 years for me there are days I still long for my blades...
Everyone's story is different and we are all on different levels... I cut to not have to focus on the pain inside. I cut to forget abuse to horrid to
have to remember... I am highly functional and extremely educated...but I also have MPD/DID so I can relate all to well to the inner little girl who never quite grows beyond the horror... Please note that not everyone will like us or what we have to say... but you need to say it all the same my daughter-n-law... no voice should ever be quelled and you were silent far to long... never stop writing it is our one link to be allowed honesty and feelings...Some will not understand, others will dislike what we say... but only God can judge us and we have paid forward in pain, tears, and blood for the right to say...THIS IS ME...SEE ME...HEAR ME...but never again try to quiet me...
Congratulations on the courage to try... you have inspired me to do the same
