Very funny and interesting story. I didn't see the twist coming to the very end and it definitely made for an interesting read! I was wondering why the mouse's name was Norveg. If its an arbitrary name, then it might be funny if the mouse was named after the drug that they were testing, or a random test subject number. Thanks for sharing!
What I liked: Aww wonderfully sweet poem. I actually laughed out lout at the line about the leaves passing through the giraffe. I also loved how you connected the first stanza to the fourth stanza with the "dizzy start" reference.
What needs work: Nothing I can see at the moment. I didn't quite get the dead hen reference, so maybe that could be explained?
