A good start I think. Making the main character(?) vague definitely makes me want to keep reading. The part about the guards is kinda confusing. The younger guard only says he saw something moving fast, so i was kinda thrown off by the older guard thinking it was a dragon. Maybe have the younger guard explain what he say a little bit more? Aside from that I'm very interested and I'm going to go read the next part.
