What a wonderful piece on a challenging topic. Your descriptions are vivid and the story compelling. And what a great outcome! Our Lord does indeed have a sense of humor and a sense of irony. That you were a part of God's work in changing this church from a place of exclusion to a place that better reflects the Kingdom is something to cherish.
