Great perspective on Eve. My favorite line..."Too bad she didn't throw the serpent into the lake." The only critique is that I believe she ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil not the tree of life.

Kathie: Such a sobering, redemptive story. The setup sequence really helped the ending deliver the punch of the wisdom delivered by the character. Also, there are beautiful details throughout such as "whiskers heavy with snow" and "smell of cherry tobacco". Nice work and wordsmithing.
