Good poem. Came across very plain to me. But then, I am in this same position so at the moment, so I understand immensely. Any reads that shine a positive light on life are all great reads to me. A friend of mine once said, "When it seems dark, look OVER the horizon. Some moment the sun will rise once again. Be looking for it."

This really had me on the floor. At first I didn't know where it was going, but with all the trouble the poor guy ran into trying to find the sound, just to keep having to go back to the er, really having a bad time, I would say. It seemed, after reading the part on him scratching the scar on his ear, that maybe the sound was "buzzing" in his ear. Than upon reading to the end, it came quite clearly. You really have to stay with the story to see what is going on here. Really fun read. Thanks for posting this.
