Pretty good arguments, although I would definitely make a clear distinction that you are talking about Christian marrige (at least I'm assuming you are). In that sense, you are very right, that the Christian marriage has been degraded and now means very little. However, it seems like you are just stating the obvious. Is there some deeper significance that you want to show or is the point simply expository? The writing is good, there's no real errors, but I don't think you were concentrating on the writing, more the message. One suggestion though is perhaps you should shift the wordage in cases such as "Marriage is about love" to "marriage should be about love" or "marriage is intended to be about love" because what I get from your story is that it isn't really about that anymore. A very lucid piece though, direct and well-written, but maybe you could deepen the meaning.
