my interpretation_Seems like a suicide note if you are going to atone for something but you are not on a mission but letting the drive dictate your location where you will give a death mass for your well being. If you were atoning for your something against someone you'd have a defined destination. I like to give my interpretation first so the author knows if they're intended message was coming across.
take aways_ I like the autum reference if Im on base with the subject as a metaphor for the impending death of winter. I would have kept the over all theme negative in stead of pointing out the golden nature, but I have to say over-all well written! good job!
