For such a difficult subject to write about, I thought this was done very well. Situations like this are extremely emotional and you did an excellent job explaining your feelings and observations. Funerals should never be a place for political protest. People like this never think about the bereived. Being a soldier myself, I know exactly what those two soldiers wanted to do. When such an attack is so painful and personal, it is estremely difficult to do what is right instead of what feels right. To stand together agaisnt such hatred brings honor to yourself and the fallen. You did a wonderful job exposing how hateful and how personal such an attack truly is. You did the right thing. Such tales need to be told and I am glad you wrote about it. I am proud of you.
