this is great you paint a vivid picture of a robin who must eat. i wonder if she has chicks in her nest? it is very well written and flows beautifully i thibk you did a great job and hope you keep writing thank you for sharing your work on here ...write on!!

this was a great story and i enjoyed it very much i don't comment on puntuation and grammar just on the story itself and it was well crafted and held my attention to the end i would like to point out some problems with verb tenses ie pushes should be pushed and feels warm should be felt warm and there are several others these made it hard to follow at times but should be easily fixed

as usual i very much enjoyed reading your work at forty-nine i find myself turning into one of those grumpy old cogers myself lol. i must say that you sure have a wonderful way of capturing the human condition that i envy a lot. let me know when your simple observations book is available for purchase. i have avoided reviewing the others of those pieces on here bacause i want to read them all when it comes out. keep up the fantastic work!!
this was good and well written i usually only comment on the story not on puncuation and stuff but i did notice that you missed a comma between austin and texas overall though i'd say you did a good job it held my attention well and left me ready for chapter two keep up the good work
I have read several pieces by this author and have liked them all especially the simple observations you are very talented and should have no problem making a good living as a writer i enjoyed this very much as i have enjoyed everthing of yours that i have read please continue to keep them coming and keep up the fantastic work
not sure what the point is here but the piece was very well written and very interesting to read i agree with some but not all of your points i.e. a bastard is someone who is BORN out of wedlock not concieved so, but all in all i think you did a great job i hope to read more by this author when i have the time thanks so much for sharing your work and keep writing

i really love this !! every one who has kids should read it!! it's sad that we seem to have raised a world full of video game playing slugs i grew up on the beach in florida so every day was summer vacation for me and i grew up strong and in great physical shape and even now at fifty i maitain a healthy body its somrthing we should teach our kids young
