(I'm a newbie reviewing!)
I found your poem musical and the rhythm strangely happy. I don't know if it was intended, but it came off as almost a satire and I quite enjoyed it. While it seems the main character is hoping for some peace, quiet and decorum within the religious sanctuary, it seems like he/she is slightly superfluous but understanding of the etiquette that one should apply to within those sacred walls. Like an old lady that will not dare talk but will judge and punish with her eyes.
(And I agree with this person (whom I have decided is an old lady called Henrietta): people letting their cellphone ring and answering them in quiet gatherings are just plain rude!)

I liked the story. I felt something was missing, but I often get that feeling from poems and I think that must be alright as I respect the work of Emily Dickinson who often leaves me that way. I think poems are made to make you think further than just the words and that what I like about a good poem. Yours was one.
