This was engaging, and drew me along all the way. I didn't want to stop reading, there were so many things going on. At the same time, I think a view of him before, not just what he wrote, maybe flashes of conversation so we see him before the decision was made. Altogether this was a great read chilling and thought provoking as well.
Damn creepy and well done! I was looking for things to read on Halloween night and this jumped up to the top of my list. You got the creeps and crawls down to an art! I would have liked to have a bit more in the description of the smell, but you could see and feel everything from his point of view. Very well done.
