Very touching poem! I could not imagine how one would deal with such a loss but the emotions I get from the father were raw and strong. almost as if I was that father myself. I love how easy you made it for a reader to connect with the emotions in this even if one has not experienced it themselves.

I love this! So very raw and open. This would be beautiful posted on a framed print. If only it was easy for everyone to open their eyes and accept others for who they are. We should not have to change to be loved. But to be loved ror who we already are. That is the key. Please continue to write more. Very inspirational piece.
