Great read. Gripping and suspenseful. I felt the tension rise as I followed Mark through the checkpoint. I also felt so bad for this poor little girl. Not only did she lose her mom but her dad is a murderer. I wanted to hunt him down and give him the beating of a lifetime for doing that to his little girl.
