Well-written. Absorbing, with a bittersweet ending. The characters were well-etched, and and the ending was surprising but not startling. Good job!

I liked this one! Simple words that evoked a clear image of an impatient, playful dog! I would love more description of the dog for the next time!

I am touched enough by your writing to not know how to respond. It was stark, it was sad but painted a clear picture of a strong and determined woman. I knew what was coming and yet I dreaded it. Your words were tight and descriptive, with the dialogue and actions proving apt support. I can't think of anything I would have done differently. Kudos on a great job.

P.S. If this was a real experience for you, my sympathies. It is hard but your strength is evident and would have served well to carry you through.

LOVED the descriptions! Each one is a treasure and delight! You have an observant eye, albeit a certain dark way of looking at things. The result is intense, overpowering almost. Perhaps because I read so many together, I almost need to stop and breathe! The giggling cloud was one of my favorites :)
