My Grandpa was also a WWI Vet ...and he was very proud of that. Looking back on history, it is so sad to see that humanity can't help itself from fighting wars. Even today with all the suffering, wars are still manifesting on all kinds of fronts. Thank you for your poem and allowing me to take a moment to reflect and realize that war will never end all wars. I hope others do the same ...
