My impression of this item was: This is a whimsical poem about crows eating lunch. Crows are not known to be picky eaters. They will eat nearly anything. I know one thing for certain. There is no good way to eat crow!

Your spelling and grammar: looked good to me.

What I liked most: I liked the flow and rhyme scheme the best.

What I liked least: I would suggest smaller lines instead of two rhymes in one line.

My impression of this item was: This is a poem about a twin sister who has passed. The author does not express grief but joy that the twin sister can do all the things in heaven she could never do on earth. This is a refreshing, faith-filled look at death. Yes. We miss them but they are in God's care.

My impression of this item was: This is a poem about a frog after a thunderstorm. The frog sings its raspy song. The author believes the frog sings as a way of dealing with what just happened. Who knows? The author could well be right. I always heard that the frog sang as an all clear signal.

My impression of this item was: This is a poem about the snooze control on our clocks. I never really could make sense of them. I mean five minutes flies by! What is the point? If I could snooze it for three hours... I have a love / hate relationship with my alarm. It sounds like a rooster and every morning I swear I am going to chop it's head off and cook it!

What I liked most: I liked the humanness in this one. Insomnia sucks but most have it.

My impression of this item was: This was an interesting quiz about the attack on Pearl Harbor. I thought I was familiar with Pearl Harbor having read and studied it in history classes. According to the test results I am not as familiar as I thought! This quiz makes me want to study Pearl Harbor more.

What I liked most: I love history. Any aspect of history is fascinating to me. I sat and watched 13 hours of a history marathon on cable one Christmas and have been enthralled since.

My impression of this item was: This is a poem in which the poet discusses why people write poetry. I can weigh in and say that I write it because it is challenging. Some write just as a pressure valve. Poetry can be cathartic and healing. Read the book "Innerlight's: Eat and Drink My Words", by innerlight available on Amazon and you'll see how poetry heals.

My impression of this item was: This is a poem written in response to a prompt. The prompt asked for a poem in which the author receives a special gift. The author here chose dragons. I don't know that I would want a dragon. They might burn my house down!

What I liked least: I think I would have come up with something unique. While dragons are exotic they are not unique.

My impression of this item was: This is a poem about the sea. The author has a deep love for the sea. I studied oceanography in college but have never seen the ocean. The largest body of water I ever saw was Lake Erie. I know a lot about something I never actually seen.

My impression of this item was: This is an essay in which the author asks "What is a whole person?"
This is a question with an elusive answer. A whole person to me is one who accepts themself for who they are and is well balanced in their attitudes. Even this answer however is incomplete because it seems to indicate that emotionally disturbed people are not whole. So what truly is a whole person? This essay describes them well.

My impression of this item was: This is a very sad poem about being tossed aside like yesterday's trash because one is disabled. The author in this one knows they will heal but the employers have no loyalty to human beings, only to the bottom line. It is sad when humans work like animals for years, but when they become ill they are tossed aside.

My impression of this item was: This was a poem about the birds of spring. Birds of spring. Birds do tend to be noisier in the spring as they sing their mating calls to each other. It is always one of the signs that I too listen for to remind me that spring has spring.

My impression of this item was: This is a poem about nightmares. We have all had them and they are very unpleasant. Sometimes it is just a figment of our imagination. At other times they are the result of trauma such as that experienced by PTSD victims. Nightmares are no fun and the author has caught the scene well. The author asks "Am I awake?"

We have all sat on the side of our beds realizing it was a nightmare.

My impression of this item was: This is a poem about memories and future possibilities. I have had my share of heart breaks in the past but I've come to realize that the only goodbyes that are really final are the ones at funerals. As long as both parties are breathing anything is possible.

This poem expresses the truth that some break ups are best left alone. As you said, my lips have kissed people I will and would not kiss again.

My impression of this item was: This is a poem about fantasy and imagination. The smoking bear was my favorite part as it is imaginative and funny. I could picture the bear with a cigartee in it's mouth as it looked at the cars.

My impression of this item was: This is a free verse poem about the soul. The poet says the soul is eternal. I agree with this belief. I am a Christian and feel secure in the fact that Jesus Christ has paid the ultimate price for my soul. This poem reinforces that belief.

My impression of this item was: This is a poem about poetry. The author says that poetry is cathartic. Writing it is the author's way of dealing with pain. The author is like many others in this respect. My friend innerlight wrotte and published a book of poetry based on experiences. Pain is a deep well to draw from.
