Review of IMPERFECTION

I am afraid that although you seem to have found "sails" in your poem if this is actual depression that you're suffering from you shouldn't feel lonely as many of people, including me, are going through this problem. You aren't alone, please seek medical help if you can, I hope that you write happier poems, as they may just lift your sails more than sad poems; although "resolved sad poems". I wish the best for you. You have a decent capability to write poetry and rhyme without sounding clunky. Take care!

You have it so right. Everyone should read this- LOVE is the answer not dogma, politics, religion, or partisanship. Distinction is a mind virus, categorization creates walls not friendliness.

I really liked the way that you introduced the idea of the prehistoric finding and the part about the ticks spreading was good, but a liitle vague. How did this happen? Also, I think you should elaborate on how these things managed to survive perhaps through the use of an antifreeze like substance? I remember watching Extreme Animals program about a microscopic bug that can hibernate for 100's of years only to be revived by a drop of water.

I am not sure, but I almost got the sense that you researched the tick to show readers a bit about their behavior. I liked the part about the dog, I am sure that many of us could relate to what it is like to try to groom a loved pet that has a nasty bloodsucker attatched to their hide. Overall, I would say it was an interesting short story. Good job and keep it up.
