I liked the overall concept. The writing and descriptions were good as well. My only criticism is the change in perspective. The story starts out as a first person narrative with Bruce telling the story all the way through the first 2 paragraphs of Chapter 2 but in the 3rd paragraph the perspective changes to a third person narrative where the character is now referred to as Bruce.
