I enjoyed this poem. The poet easily shows the reader whats in their heart and mind while writing this. The flow is great and the rhymth is spot on. I have friends that have been in lots of shelters and some have been a shelter for abused women. I`m glad they have places for women like this. Thanks for sharing this

I really enjoyed this. We often have so many places we can go to in relating a better place a more peaceful place. You made me right in the middle of your poem and I enjoy when a poet can do that. As kids we make believe but if you really think about it its not make believe at all. Its your special place no matter what others think. A place to go when times are tough where you can talk to God where you can release the pressure of life. Even as adults we have similar places but thery are guarded more often than as kids. A beautiful poem about a wedding and honeymoon. The fellow traveled a lot but realized after a time with his wife that traveling was finally done. His wife was more important and he should more time with her. If he did so travel that he would take her with him. A wonderful poem and thanks for sharing
I enjoyed this poem. You did this Septet perfectly. We have a dog and a cat. Bagel is our cat and Cheyenne is our dog. The cat is a orange and white tabby and our dog is a German Shepherd. Cheyenne is 8 months old and Bagel is 3 months old. They both get along great. I love poems about animals. Thanks for sharing this

lol good poem. I have had this happen to me many times. More in lines of a dog though. Thats why its best to clean up after your animals so you dont do this lol. I have made quite a few poems regaurding how I felt about someone and referred the poem to manure lol. thanks for sharing this
Hi Jace well depicted poem. Its hard to get back into the swing of things. Being away for so long puts crutches on the pen and the mind. This was really good. I enjoyed this fine flowing poem. It kept me interested throughout the whole poem and it was easy to understand. Funny how he did this out of his van but hey you got to make an earning and keep the van afloat. Cant say I ever did this myself but I am sure this is fiction. A Beautiful poem. Yes you are correct the gift of love is by far the best gift you can get or give. Its priceless and can go a long way. Many want meterial things which is nice but often never last. I honestly didnt understand this. The only thing I might of got out of it was the mother had passed away and the woman didnt realize it till then. Some afre so used to their life and when someone passes it can change dramitically. I hope I was correct in what you wrote
