Beautiful imagery of nature and man in a mediaeval's day setting, coming to the waters of life being refreshed and anew in spirit, especially man himself. Though all the stanzas are rich with imagery I love stanzas five to nine, depicting man hearkening to a higher calling, to be baptized into waters of eternal life, to be saved and be with Him for all eternity. As a Christian myself I can glean the spiritual meaning of this beautiful poem, because within me is His spirit that teaches me how to discern the spiritual things where as to the common man not born of the spirit and the washing of the word , would see the beauty and may not see the spiritual meaning. Very interesting way to share the Gospel. Got me riveted in the opening scene, just like a western movie. The ending was somewhat of a surprise. Your descriptive words created a very good imagery in one's mind that kept you intrigued to what was next. Liked the title...thanks for sharing...eiji *Cool*

really stimulates your mind,showing your caring love for the tree,either it provided you with income like a farm, or you find solace embracing it like a friend, who gave you a life long enjoyment of climbing fun and a haven to escape to contemplate life, with a added bonus of eating it's fruit of life. Either way, this writing reflects the very essence of your life.
