I like it - slightly ominous. Lots to unpack here, it jumps from one idea to another. However, it still evokes a similar emotion. Personally, I hope you're going to do well :).
Clearly, greatly personal. Chillingly human. Fun to read with expansive diction. It's well written, maybe a bit less descriptive, but has great emotion.
This time capsule/resolution is amazing. Reading this, I've learned some things, and have been motivated with an emotion I can only call "writing". You have a very solid definition of self and express that very well in this essay. The last paragraph is sort of ironic, as it is self-defining, but also nicely described, with many benchmarks that you will be able to see. "arouse feelings of happiness, distress, shame, regret within a writer" - Yup!
Well, that's a hilarious plot twist. Although it is short, it does its best to show some character in the characters. The itallics for emphasis is a great choice! Gwen is mischievous and Basie is a friend who gets dragged along. Two things I'm a bit picky about, or just sets me off.
1. "get Juno to fall for Eldrith spell" probably could be hyphenated, or at least in some type of brackets. (had to reread, maybe my fault)
2. Not sure why Juno is unconscious? dazed? (before he's transformed into a rat)
I have never heard/read a groundhog so old and salty, and a bit disheartened. I like the way you portray unwritable name groundhog, which is so much different than the very confused animal I see on TV. "Phil teaches a lesson to me"
Yes, very unfortunate that this is non-fiction. I don't know why, but I keep reading "laughter hides the slaughter". That line is very provocative. I like it.
I think it really shows a lot of last year: details that I really had to remember to understand. This is a great poem to be encapsulated in time.
This is new (as I only face a wall when I sleep) but really convincing. Deja-vu a bit here, real powerful forces of nature, and how we feel in scale to them: by yourself in the dark! I like it. Bit short, I do feel that the emotion should be long.
