This year has been weird in its own way. Words cannot describe the chaos going on around the world. Surely the Godhead is upset with people and their attitude towards existence. This poem is so beautifully written about the pandemic and it's socio-economic impact.

Prayers for all who are fighting the virus.

Review of The Rolling Sea

What a melodious way to describe your love for the sea. I loved the imagery and the use of words Rolling Sea.
The depth of your love is visible as you want to go back to the sea even after the poet is gone.
Loved it.

Spirits do reside in nature in their purest form. I was taken on a magical tour to the mystics of natural beauties of canyons, trees, winds and beyond.
A very well written poem and loved every bit of it.

It is tough but not impossible to give justice to being a mom and being a writer at the same time. It was good to read your point of view and those tips were really helpful in boosting up that sagged determination that I sometimes have. Thanks for uplifting my spirit to a level where I have come to a point to stick to a routine. That will help a lot too.

Just one edit I could suggest.

They have the ability to} nurture a sick child and an infant novel at the same time.

Review of Strawberry Smiles
Rated: E | (5.0)
It is always a pleasant sight to see a child slurping an ice cream. Yes I said slurping because they love to get messy. Or may be they slow down purposely to loose to the melting speed of that utterly delucious frozen dessert. They are more fascinated by that baby pink colour of a strawberry ice cream than actually relishing it's taste. They actually love the drizzle of melted ice cream on their warm fingers on a breezy summer day.

What a delight it was to read your poem and thinking about my daughter too.

Keep Writing and inspiring all of us.

Review of My Fire Burns On
Rated: E | (5.0)
I really admire the depth of feelings you have while being with your loved one. The flames have not extinguished even after the departure. It still lingers on bright in your body, mind and soul complex.
I loved the line -
Emitting from the fires of your heart.
This line shows me that your love feelings were very well and aptly reciprocated. Lucky are the ones who give love and receive it many folds.
I loved the fact that the poet is adding life to years and that brings him joy even after there is no physical presence of the other half of his life.

It is a very positive attitude poem. Lovely read.

Review of Hour Glass

Bullseye. Perfect definition of life. I loved the central idea of showing life through an hour glass. I loved it.
It is difficult to describe an idea in a poetry form with limited words and it is really impressive how you have done it perfectly.

Review of Diets

Optimum application of the Pantoum poetry form is very much commendable.
You have effortlessly shown the very smallest of the real feelings we all go through at some point in our lives when we see our body shapes and physical health getting distorted. After reading this I have firmed my belief that no person is the only one on this planet who going through these kinds of thoughts and emotional feelings associated with physical appearance.
Very soft and nice read to begin the day.

A soft hearted person is found vulnerable here. Vulnerable to hurts and aches which are not physically visible. They drive the person crazy with each passing day. Somewhere there is a small silver lining of a strong will to bounce back into life with smiles but it's not getting easier for the person as he has no emotional support.
This is a realistic poem on one aspect of relationships. Words are sharper than knife. The title suits the tone of this poem.
I liked the last line. It pierces deep into a reader's heart. The person is not able to understand cause of his pain. Whether it's because of the word abuse or because there's no one around to notice his suffering.
We all live a life based on acceptance. And we try to maintain standards based on other's acceptances. That makes us suffer more than anything else in this world.
Physical bruise heals with time. Emotional jolts are extremely difficult to overcome.
Very well said.
Keep Writing.

Where there is approximately six to seven months of winter things are really brutal. You have captured the rustic part of the cold. Other is the sugar dusting off and on from heaven above.
Yes I agree totally that life slows down in winters as there are limited and sometimes very less options of outdoor activities.
But after the harsh cold waves the warm sunlight is a real delight.

Very nice read for this day.

Hope of swings between love at first sight and a sixth sense of sensing that something is surely wrong with that special person.
The title kept me guessing after I read and re-read.
The writer knows it best.

Review of Constellations

Seeing everything with positivity and hope even when one is in the middle of turmoil and darkness is the very uplifting idea behind this piece.
An optimistic tone runs throughout the poem and it is very well complimented by a simple but effective rhyming scheme.
Good Read to start my day !

The plot of your story is interesting and catchy. I loved the way you marked your opening paragraph. It kept my interest intact to read on.
Characters are believable and the story that you will develop will eventually turn our good. Super natural shade with spirits is a nice theme.
Will it be a thriller or a horror story ? Just curious to know *Smile*

Review of Tomorrow

It is a situation all to-be graduates face. Including me. I faced such too.
I loved the fact that in the end you decided not to waste time over-thinking and take the reigns of today for a brighter tomorrow.
Thanks for sharing this poem.

Review of My Chains

The worst disease that humans suffer is 'what will people (society) think?'
This is such a pity that human life revolves around pleasing others and living with norms created by others. Not realizing that we are calling prey to our own weaknesses and succumb to depending on social attributes.
Poet brings out these ill effects very nicely through this poem. Social rules become like the dark dungeon bars which seem unbreakable and intolerant.

Great work!

Mother - an Almighty that one can see, experience her magic called love. No one can equate a mother's love, care, affection, emotion, sacrifice, nurturing and much more. She is the only reason of our existence, evolution and sustainability.
No amount of words can describe mother.
Lovely read.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful work.

Review of What have I done?
Rated: ASR | (5.0)
The title is so heart touching and the poem does apt justice to it.
Pain of losing a loved one because of uncontrollable circumstances is excruciating. The helplessness followed by it is like a huge mountain of guilt.
The theme and rhyme is good.
An emotional read for this day !

Review of Splash

This is such a sweet vision. Innocence bathing under the watchful eyes of endless and selfless love.
A beautiful connect establishes between three kids and their mother through a weekly ritual which is fun filled and soothing.

I do this with my daughter too. Small things like these mean the world to me as a mother and means the universe to my daughter.

Lovely read for this morning.
Very candid and heart warming poem.

Review of Form
Rated: E | (4.5)
Snow shower is what I can picturize from the poem. It is required by all. Plants and humans, rivers and mountains. Sleet or blizzard, the form is not important. It is the mother nature's cycle to shower snow for some very good crops during harvest.

There is life indeed beyond death. Death is not the end , it is in fact a new beginning to life. Almighty and his magical powers don't need any justifications to prove themselves. It's is there and will always be. Surrendering to the wills of God is the only key to life. A contented life.

Nice read that's boosts the faith in Him.

Thanks for sharing .

Review of Evening Work

Misunderstanding hits back with great thrust. Gina's character has all shades of jealousy, spying through emails of her man. A trait every woman has whether they openly display it or not.

The thrill build up is nice as the reader gets to the edge to know what happens at the laptop and when the door bell rings.

Nice work

Review of The Beginning

I liked the frankness in this whole story. In fact it is good to know that the guy at last wanted to ge tied up in a commitment. Having had experiences , as he said, he is still nervous at the beginning. It is a very convincing story to me and I loved the use of new words here. Brick pizzeria did not offend the reviewer in me. I admired it as a new learning to me too.

Good work !

Review of A Fake Smile
Rated: E | (5.0)
Smile is the encyclopedia of all human emotions. It is hard to know the real reason behind a smile. But wise ones can immediately make out which kind of a smile it is.
I love the way you have categorized smile in so many different ways. Many kinds of emotions that are associated with smiles.
Loved the theme of this poem.

So many wonderful emotions are underlined in this prose. I like the honest view point where you mention that you are deeply saddened with the death of a good soul and at the same time you don't miss the bad habits that your brother had fallen prey too.
It is indeed very difficult to imagine life after the departure of a loved one, but yes as you said life moves on. God gives us the courage to hang on and move forward from the loss because many other's lives are depending on us. Life cycle goes around.
Very emotional read.
