| I look at MS's holistically - meaning I'm not so much a grammar Nazi, but more into characterization and story flow. In this regard I'm very detailed about how scenes and dialogue are stitched together. |
| I'm a true empath, meaning I am extremely sensitive to body language. 90% of communication is through what we are doing, our facial expressions, our posture, and where we are looking - or not looking in situations. Hence, paying attention to what your characters are doing when they are in stressful situations is very telling to the reader, and it makes characters more 3-dimensional. I can spot places where a little added detail deepens the character for a reader. |
