I really enjoyed that. It was quirky, in that you fitted in so many TV shows, that even this old Aussie recognized. It flowed easily and read well, it made perfect sense, in fact I could see both Ray and Rosie in a kitchen having this conversation.

You have an interesting concept for a great story here. How did you meet Emily? Was she just in your class, or did you meet outside of school? The boy on the basketball team, is he cute, tall, small, colored or white. How serious is this Daiquiri Virus? Keep going and develop the story line and the characters.

A powerful piece. As all poetry, it asks questions of us. This is no different. If I have any criticisms, it is that it's too short.
