With which to frame what? I appreciate the rhyme but it seems like you just made the second line for the rhyme. Love is an "uncomplex"tool? Perhaps there is another word you could use, "uncomplex"is a little clunky.
I think this is a good start, it draws you in and piques your interest, but it begs to be finished or added to. There are multiple character introductions and exposition but there is no climax or resolution. As a short story, I would argue that it does not need a rounded conclusion, a cliff hanger is definitely effective, but this piece has no climax. Are you looking to expand the story, or is it just to keep writing juices flowing?
