This made me depressed while reading it and I clearly knew that this was no laughing matter. This wasn't a poem about love or sunshine. It was a poem about pain and suffering and I am a big fan of this genre. Keep up the good work.

These are the kinds of poems I love in so many different ways and I do like the rhyme scheme in there as well as the vocabulary used. Simple, straight forward, easy to read, and delivers a cute little poem about wishing for a lover. The only gripe I have with this is that it's a little short and would have been more effective with a little more added to the story. You are on your way to becoming a pretty good poet.
