I liked this poem a lot, it makes you think about our social morality and the gap between excessive life and lose of life, pampered or tortured, gorged or starving, rich or poor. A callous society ignoring human atrocities and living without guilt but consumed in greed.

I found your story to be very descriptive and flowed well, it would have been nice to have a little more character description. I enjoyed the suspenseful build up but was a little disappointed with the vague ending with no explanation or description of the creatures in the woods. It seemed to end leaving the reader confused about the importance of the whole story by not explaining more about the creatures or what their purpose was. I would enjoy reading an updated version of this story with an ending that was equal to the build up of suspense before they ran off to their party. I hope to hear more about the mysterious creatures in the woods
