I think the same thing all the time. I am young but the church next to my house rang all the time. I found comfort in it sometimes. And the ladies and men bit, I love my husband but I know that it would be much stronger if our roles were properly in their places. Now women are carrying more than they should and therefore the children get less of the rearing that they should i.e better relations all the way around. Beautifully said.
I thought that the story lead up to a very satisfying ending. I enjoyed waiting for the next crazy thing that would happen. I felt that the detail to how many players were needed and such was uninteresting to the reader, especially one not familiar or interested in this kind of skilled sport. However, at any rate, it was interesting and I could completely picture in my mind the events and the fight. Thumbs up!
Reading this particular poem reveals truth in the lives of all of us. We are hurting our Earth, and we are fighting sometimes unnecessarily. The Michael Jackson video just really inspired me. I felt that both represent what needed to be said. It also seems Godless, as if we were not told better to takecare of the Earth. I did enjoy the comparison of oil to blood, because we are not only hurting each other, the Earth and all its inhabitant suffer along with us.
