Hi Bandit,
First thought
While I was reading the poem, the thoughts came into my mind was that of life and death. Life not doubt is the second name of death.
Ideas
The way you attached two different things is good, butterfly and cardinal both signifies life after death
suggestions
There should be some consideration given to style, I guess.
