I really enjoyed this piece.
I was quite surprised in the second stanza when it changed tone. It caught my attention, and lead me to read all the way to the end to find out what happens!

You wrapped it up nicely with the last stanza, well done!

What I liked


I enjoyed the way you described the paper as the enemy, always the winner. The ink conquering it in the end. The flow was nice, and the quote at the end a nice wrap up.


Suggestions


I wasn't sure if you intended your punctuation to be as such, maybe just typos? for example, closing quotes at the beginning, with no opening quotes?

I really enjoyed this piece. It spoke of the scares caused by life, and finding someone who will love you for who you are.

I like your repetition of "Who loves you for your scars", it wrapped it together nicely.
