I've just stumbled across this after checking out The Writers Cramp for about the first time in forever, I don't usually read entries structured as poems, but the first line captivated me right to the very last line. This is actually one of the greatest life affirming pieces of literature that I have ever read and I really hope you don't mind me sharing this on Facebook (I linked back to you so people can find you!)
You have the concept of the human condition down to a tee and the T&C style of writing is simply genius. I love how you've described the human experience as if it is a choice that upon acceptance of the terms you are allowed to undertake and that, ultimately, your happiness is truly your choice and can not be blamed on anyone else other than yourself.
Thank you for sharing this, I'm sure I'll be referring back to this over and over again for a long time to come!
