Sad and dark,lost and empty and yet at the same time chilling reeal. To be honest I dont know whether I like it or not. It has definitely disturbed me as there is a connection. One moment we have it all the next nothing, proving that everything in life is fleeting.
Beautiful story and the insert of the poem was brillant. Beth is a beautiful character which you have developed in strength as the years passed.Most of the story resonates happiness and light heartedness and this brings a feeling of joy to the reader. The demise of Tony was well thought out. Personally I did not like the end. The scenery was beautiful but her decision to live with Grandma did not ring true for me. For such a good story I think you are well able to have a powerful conclusion

This poetry is absolutely brillant.I love the second verse where they shop for love in the park--how true it is. In the fourth verse your comparrison of the dark and warm emotions is excellant.Finally the first verse where you are told your life is over by people who cant find their own way is touching because it is so true
This is a very good poem. I love the description of her body soul and mind scented live a rose. It conjures an image of purity. What an intense poem: I can feel the lonliness-I can hear the cry for salvation. Simple words often times describe the depth of despair that can encompass us. You have done this very effectively. The poem resonates what many of us cry out in the darkness of the night.

Interesting story. I anticipated the outcome of the story nonetheless it was enjoyable. I wondered how life will play out for the author or will Mona dispose of him. All in all the Smile was an entertaining romantic thriller which I enjoyed. Nice plot, good for you.
