Sometimes, though I am used to people getting Memorial Day confused with 'just another Friday off', it still makes me sad. My hsband is in the military, and though we do not always get to spend the holiday with him(such as last year), my children & I observe it by not going to slumber parties & cookouts where few actually know why they have Friday off.
Thank you for taking the time to learn how very important this holiday is to so many people.
Holy Sh .. nevermind. This is something else. I wonder, do you think those people may actually be suffering from depression ? Mental illness is not as obvious as a physical ailment. And are prone to exteme behaviour much more quickly and easily. I have studied this, and was amazed how 'common' these indivduals can appear. Well, hey I am sorry about taking up so much space. Great work!
