Super creative look at writer's block. Dark, brooding, fearful and the voice of many and the path that lies before them. All you have is what you can communicate, writing, art whatever drives you(us).

To think thoughts as such go through your m9nd as your write, imagery is nice, and a great length, not too short and not too use of fancy confusing words.

Fav!
Self-loathing gripped them, a relentless foe,
Doubt gnawed at their core, an unwelcome woe.
But they fought through the darkness, their spirit unbroken,
For within their words, a voice was awoken.

Nice wedding. Congratulations. This is a rated item so I suggest elaborating. This could also be changed into a neat small poem, which might be more worthy of a rating. I hate to see you get passed or misjudged for this being a "short story" and so small. Misleading. When did you marry? What did the groom wear? Was there a lot of people? or just family? Vows? Theme? beside your dress? does sound gothic which would be neat.

This is nice to share and I'm glad you seem to have had a nice wedding. Thank you.

Hello, sad friend, Presley Rhodes

I know everyone has positive words to share when they feel they should but know I mean this, "you are never alone" and I've had my share. Things can be so hard without any rhyme or reason, and often we ask why. I have learned to not ask, just remember what does make you happy, whatever, whomever, and ride that train.

I remember everyone who has died on me, and not a day goes by that I don't cry, but I have people and things I love still and there has to a be a reason to live on. Get rid of the people that poison you, you'll be better off.

Addiction is so terrible and judged and misunderstood. I'm sorry you had to share your sadness and pain, and I hope you gained something from it. Thanks and take care.

Neat look at the mind we have at night time. The one who keeps us up, the one who says things we don't want to heart. Reminds of things we need to or don't need to do. It could be like a dark infection, the creepy if the nights, the scary in our minds. There's has been much media to highlight mental health, but not the service and education to keep up.
This poem is a moody creepy look at our nighttime "I can't sleep" battles.

This has a 20's gangster feel to it, even with the names created, and "snuffing" out their smokes' Neat name for a lounge. Interesting and short. I could the three men in suits, in a cloud of smoke, talking in their accents, the annoyance and doubt showing in their voices.
Old office, found very quick. Is there a second part? It'd be neat if there was so kind of trap they didn't know about. Or maybe the ghost of Mickey gets angry they took his stash? This could go many different directions. I enjoyed it and glad I came across it for "Game of Thrones" . I should read more mysteries I had fun.

Good afternoon, IE

Congratulations of the Cramp win. Nice story about a boy looking for his pet dog, and that you managed to use all the prompt words and maintain the flow and story is well done indeed. Not a scary spooky mystery, but a kind one showing all the love Barny has for his dog Skip.
Relatable, and honestly made me think of one time I lost dog in a storm storm, I followed her tracks in the snow with a hot dog. I wonder how old Barney is? Old enough to have some teenager thoughts, but young enough to still have his dad drive him around, How old is Skip? Would him missing be because he still a puppy or old. Parents seem a little overprotective.
I liked this story, and see no punctuation errors. Well edited.

Hello iKïyå§ama-House Targaryen

This is very interesting and honestly not where I thought I was going. so much detail you can share, I could imagine the fireflies turn to fairies, hear their smallest voice trapped in the jar. Like I said interesting. I found myself picturing Tinkerbell, or the rat fairies from Red String and Blood Tea.

I do not have any suggestion to improve or change this, it is well edited, and had me captive to see it till the end. I enjoyed the sweet story, hoped it might get a little darker, but smiled at the names, the mood this created and the ending like a win win.

Good Morning Ifunanya Welcome to WDC.

Little me always enjoys a small spooky take, and this is no exception. The ending kind of loses steam but the imagery is rich and very moody. A classic troupe to the eerie abandoned house and all it's mystery and fear.
Suggestions.
How did Sarah deluge into the family mysteries?
Why would she got alone. Yeah I know you state she was fan of superstition but the house being legend in the town, and shunned, I find it strange she'd go alone.
What year was the house build? To give reference to the ghosts siting around the table.

To express so much dread around the house and it's stature in the town, I have questions. This kind of me of The Haunting of Hill House. I hope my review was helpful, and again Thanks!

A good metaphor about birds and stars and the daydreaming of both things. Kind of romantic, which I think is your intent. When your truly part of someone love it can magical, and something we want to share and express in some way and you've summed that up in this, wondering as you walk why your both so different but together.

Being a parent can be one of the most rewarding things we do as adults, and every parent tries their best as there is inner manual on how to raise another human being. This is sweet, and tells of your fears, your memories, what you tried to achieve, and your regrets as you write this for your child someday to read.

Suggestions.

Editing this into two paragraphs, you start with Hi, my love, I suggest your second paragraph starting the same as you use the same words later in this letter. You change tens a few times from telling to told. I good reread out loud helps spot the changes. This is a kind letter, and almost like an apology.

Very romantic, past tense poem about the feelings and imagery associated with love. It's sweet to want to share such feelings, and the small flowers and petals they shed were truly poetic. I have no suggestions this is so well done, and just want to share that I enjoyed this, and could really feel what you were expressing for your partner.

Shucks! You really do have a brilliant way with rhyming poetry with everyday subject matter. The touch of humor I enjoy, and love the imagery I get of my own Halloween's as a child, the pillowcases, the candy I didn't like, the egging, and one year I slept in a graveyard. Your way with poetry really brings the reader in and makes them feel like it's about them in a way. I truly thought of my own childhood and my kids trick and treating and how time changed. Kind of has that 80's daytime horror shows feel. The curse of the candy corn is fantastic! Thank you again.

Golly this is delightfully sweet natured, and flows so great and easy to read. The title is a bit misleading but I think that's intentional. I could see the car pull up, and the dog jump in, the rhyme is spot on, and just told so well. To only imagine this could actually happen, especially if one had a rare breed of dog.
I'm in a very quiet spot in the world, and enjoy reading out of my norm. Doggerel indeed. I had a giggle, smiled a lot and enjoyed this poem. No suggestions keep writing.

I'm not sure you need such a high rating on this as there is no swearing or sensitive subject matter, just how delightful it was to go to the convention wherever that was in 2004. The people behind the handles do rock, and I like you have found so much friendship here, there's days I think I'd like to meet a few. Very lucky you had a chance to do so, I could only imagine Sm and the misses dancing.

Creative story and well told. Thinking and knowing that Sara wanted love and was about to do anything to find is neat indeed. To suffer from any addiction is tragic, but reading that Sara found calm in the countryside is kind. The babble of a shallow rocky river, the songs of morning birds. Such contentment we find away from the noise of a city, and looking up into the night sky creates more blessing.

Perhaps editing the description to something of the story you wrote and not that its for a contest. Some people will pass reading just by description.

Honestly you do have a way of writing. Telling like your speaking but not a memory put to the moment. I could imagine sitting in a tent hearing the story be told, and scared. I lived in a deep forest as a kid and loved the spooky of it. I've found snakes skins and no fear. Guinea pigs a wide stretch but I can relate as I don't like chipmunks. I enjoy your creativity. Easy to read and enough description to get an image in my head of what I'm reading.

Good Day! Winchester Jones

Cute fast paced little story about a strange prank, leaving someone out in a raft in the ocean. I enjoyed but had to read it a few times to get aboard with the dialogue.
At first I thought it was telling, but after rereading I thought more a memory shared, from a person perception that he knew deep inside they would not leave him. The calm and assurance of that would make some comedic relief.

Suggestions.
I in my head can tell when their spoken word and thought, but it seems to be difficult written. I'm not sure what I'm missing.

It's creative your use of slang and the not full sentences expressing his personality, almost a western twang I hear. I enjoyed this well edited short story, being part of GOT is truly taking me out of my comfort.

Good Day Wandering Thoughts

Lyrics are enjoyable written to let the reader image their own tune guided by the creativity of the writing. This has a sad feel to it, but I think that's me, as I'm in a time in my left that my kids are adult and flying away.

I enjoyed this not have read the other two parts, but I think it was interesting looking for the lost brother, and the dialogue that happens. I'm not sure of character descriptions happens in the other chapters, but I think it would be a nice addition to this one, especially for people like me that haven't read the others. I can get a fell of the dialogue but no imagery.

Description could be clarified a little more as explaining its the third part but some enlightenment would be a bonus. Again, I enjoyed and don't mean to step on any toes, all is just my opinion. Thank you very much and enjoy your day!

Good day Weirdone-Back in the games This review is for "I Write in 2024" 

Interesting Patrick's day theme story about two very different sisters, and a cliffhanger.
This is just my thoughts, and I hope I'm helpful. There's a lot of dialogue, and I always find punctuation in dialogue difficult. You start with one sister yelling, but she wasn't. That caught be up, and the back and forth between the sister's is simple and well written, but I don't feel the passion of the sister's spoil anger, or the patience and love the nun sister has. I did enjoy this, I just think it could be more. Thank you for sharing and Good Luck in the contest.
