Being a gypsy by heritage - French Romanian, I completely understand this poem and its feelings. Very well done, though I think that those not of the "gypsy" persuasion might not get it, I know my friends never did.
Again, excellently written, so moving. Cathching and holding the reader's attention. I was able to feel the confusion and pain of the girl. The truth of her birth was obvious, and the ending kind of left hanging did her dad leave her anything? DId he leave her brother anything? Did she now own the building she was in? Very well done, write on!
Fantastic! I loved it, the descriptions were very moving, and I love the frame, I ache often because my family has no "traditions" and I wish they did. The nursing home description moved me. My mom was in one with Alzheimer's and died there. I often thought the same thing about the colors. Very moving. Write on!
