Nice concept, while I was reading, I was replacing the winds, tree's, deers, so on, so on. I know it's you're story, but the impact of your story missed it's mark. Let's say for the fun of it, that you could have used wolves in you're story, how about a pack of wolves.
You have fallen down breaking your ankle with only a half loaded gun. You know the rest. You killed one last year while hunting. Now the game has turn too you. I can hear the pack wolves planing you're demised already, "can you hear them now?"
I Can only say, it sounds like the Christian life. Man it can get even worse but a true Christian knows the sweet Lord will get them through it. Have you heard this, "been there done that." If one believes that God is all powerful than he knows what we are going through. That's why Christian trust in him. I hope this is not you're own struggles? if not? God's words are still true. Nice, some of best music I have ever heard was this type of theme good old country songs like John Denver songs, even if it was a story it's good. you're words also made me think of this old picture that hung in friends house long time ago it was a picture of this old red farm house with the great things surrounding it, a wagon, a barn plus much more. Great twist, thought it was the cat bugging the person in the story I got heated up my self dealing with computers losing data, constant updates, buying ink for the printer, people can lose their mind dealing with machines. So few words, it's all right, let us fill in the spaces it has all the elements needed. When I was reading it , the movie began I saw the beginning the middle, and the ending the best part. You know I like Christian writings because others Christian understand when they read it but when non Christians read it it has less impact but keep those words flowing. Most of the time a spark won't cause a fire but the potential is always there, first writing welcome.

I Believe in words that gives off remarkable visions not more empty words but less words but the right words. unless you needs alot words to sell a book. Ha ha. You used some very good words that made me picture your thoughts I like that. I would have gotten bored with a lot of empty words.

Well not getting too serious, first prose second poetry I will rate in that order. So I thought you're writing was very good in the sense it covered a historical venue, plus it seen so personal with great feelings. In the poetry sense the words came together.

Wow, I am so glad I came across you're writing it was refreshing I use to live for a good mountain man story with words like mountains, cold, cougar, campfire, etc, etc. Brings memories in print how life was out in those mountains, and you're writing did just that.

Thank you so much for sharing you're story, I also have had great lost of losing my cat which was a part of my family, and for a long time I never wanted anymore pets but in time I know my lord saw my great suffering, and with his great mercy bought to me another cat which I could not refuse, not to say I have forgotten my beloved cat Kelly, Never, but when my cat Todd comes to me in affection and love I'm at peace and I wish that for you always.
