Hmmm if I were to take a guess, I'd say Sea World? Is that where you are? I enjoyed this wordsearch. You took me to this place of fun and I imaged a time when I was at a park like this. I'm feeling cool here in texas, but as I did the wordsearch I felt warm. Good words! Weeowl

Review of THE DAY I DIED
Rated: E | (5.0)
Yes this is dark! I like how it's short and sharp. I like the contrast between the life in the unrequited or love who broke the characters heart and the vacancy, the void in the broken hearted person. You write this well and I was able to feel the numbness. WRITE ON!!! Weeowl

Review of My Movie List
Rated: E | (5.0)
OOOH! Great movies! I know every word to Titanic! I watch it over and over and over again. Other movies I do that with are Ferris Buellar's Day Off, Sixteen Candles, Breakfast club. I'm a sucker for romances :) I notice that I see the movie in a different way everytime I see it. Like Titanic. I see this moment of crisis and how many different decisions are made. It's like when you read a book at one point in your life and then read it again years later...you get a different view. Is that how it is for you? Great wordsearch! Weeowl

I LOVE SPRING! I LOVE that you created a wordsearch based on ALL SPRING! I am very happy now and to know that we are only 9 days away from the official spring equinox thoroughly thrills me! ;) Today is gray outside. It's okay. I welcome this gray day because it's bringing rain and with rain comes the flowers! :D Thanks for cheering me up! Write on Weeowl

It's interesting. The words you chose inspired me to experience the feeling of connection. I felt two things after reading this poem twice: cold...ice cold...and very disconnected as if I was walking around as the character but still observing. I saw the color black and eyes shielded by a sad glaze as soul pain showed themselves. I see this every day. You captured the essence here. I'm impressed and I hope you continue writing on. You're very talented! Weeowl

Review of Magical Bits
Rated: E | (5.0)
Woohoo! :D I know this kind of magic and it's cool that you did a wordsearch about it. As Joe Vitale said, We are in a Spiritual Reneissance! Keep up the good work both with the magic and the writing. As you know, both are important to this world. In Spirit, Weeowl

Review of Bound
Rated: E | (5.0)
This poem is intriguing in that it can mean multiple things. A suicide attempt or just metaphorically bound. I read it three times to let it wash over me so I could figure it out, but I'm still puzzled. Perhaps I'm tired or something like that. Seeing your soul...that was interesting to me. You did well here. write on! Weeowl

Review of Spirits of light
Rated: E | (5.0)
Wow! This was an interesting poem. I could go on and on about how many things have that good and evil side. I like that you express this matter of factly as you received the message. I look forward to reading more of your work. Write on! Weeowl

Review of And I Cried . . .
Rated: E | (5.0)
Wow! This is a great representation of grief. I can feel it in your poem and the fact that you end it without ending it is incredible! The grief repeats. the grief continues. I am really impressed. Those miniscule moments become big memories of comfort. Write on! Weeowl

Review of Drumming
Rated: E | (5.0)
Great job! You start us out in the present...drumming...the heartbeat of the Earth and humanity. You give us a moment of joy in the present by taking us to Elena's happy past. Then, you turn the tables and bring us back to Elena's harsh reality. All of this was neatly wrapped within this short story. Your words allowed me to feel emotions and allowed me to identify with your character. Way to go! Write on! Weeowl

Phoenix, this is a wonderful poem! On the tree of life, every leaf and every branch is unique. No two are alike just like fingerprints or DNA. The message here is one that I follow and believe...to enjoy the differences and celebrate together. Like the Tree of Life, we are all a part of the bigger, awesome picture. Write on! Weeowl

Review of Heart's Death
Rated: E | (5.0)
Wow! This sure does describe the sensation of unrequited love! Even the pattern of the words express the feeling. For a while I was grieving...my "unrequited love." Then one night, I dreamt of him and he professed his love for me. Now I can easily say that my LOVE was killed by a drunk driver. Hmmm...Inspired! Gotta run! Great job and write on! Weeowl

Hahhaah! Clever! I enjoyed this as I got really involved in the whole earth ending thing, then you threw in the string of the puppeteer! It brings drama and humor together. And I must say that the ending is FANTASTIC! Congratulations on such a clever work. Did you win the contest? Write on! Weeowl

Review of The Golden Castle
Rated: E | (5.0)
Hahahah! I love this fairy tale! You went right with what I expected "Once upon a time..." and then you flipped it on me saying it really has nothing to do with the story :D I love how our hero deals with her adversaries and the fact that our hero is female! I enjoyed every second of this story and am impressed with your humor! Write on! The world needs your words! Weeowl

Review of short. sweet.
Rated: E | (5.0)
I agree that some of the most important messages can come in short poems. I invite you to check out my poem tear drift. We do have to remove the protective bandages we place in order to heal. I like that you talk about how this new one is gently tearing at the bandages and it's still painful. Write on! Weeowl

Review of Edge

Bravo! I am super impressed with your poem. I like the line "too scared, too scarred" I don't know what it is exactly...or I can't put into words what I like about the line...perhaps the pairing. It works! You illustrate the best and worst idea wonderfully. Is there a middle ground? Write On! Weeowl

Review of Make or break...
Rated: E | (5.0)
Wow! This is a gruesome writing. A dose of unexpected reality. I could smell the vomit and the blood in a place that should be sterile and smell of disinfectant. You have plenty of lines that jump out to me and make me feel something of shock, sadness, and many other emotions. Some of these lines are "She is too sick to stand on her feet and a foamy cloud around her mouth is home to a fly." Well, shoot, all lines provoke this shocking emotion in me. Write on! And I hope your Mom is okay. Is she???? Can anything be done about that? Horrifying! Touched by your writing, Weeowl

Review of Moment of Peace
Rated: E | (5.0)
What a perfect prose to read at this moment. I felt it quiet me too, and enjoy this moment that will last forever because YOU have written it! Isn't that the beauty of your talent? Our talent as writers to capture something and create immortality. One question: wouldn't it be descending from above? It didn't take away from the prose it just made me go "Huh?" But I want to thank you for creating this peace. Write on! Weeowl

At this poem I swoon! I know what it's like to have and experience love where oceans are between us. In my situation, I talked to him on the phone. I could listen to him for hours. He knew when I was upset and did what he could to comfort me. He healed...he healed the disease and not the symptoms...Leukemia entered his body...and he passed before we could meet in person. A tragedy and yet, I'll always remember him :) Gotta love the internet! Write on! Weeowl

Review of The Climb
Rated: ASR | (5.0)
BRAVO! This is a fabulous poem. Yes, it's full of pain, but the truth is that there is more hope and I love how the darkness fades at the end! Just looking at that alone...the darkness, not the light, fades. We often think of the light fading...what a magical line to make the darkness fade! Powerful poem and I encourage you to keep writing! Standing in the light with you, Weeowl

Oh I love it! The past few readings have been dark and tragic. I was so happy to find your children's story. Have you thought about publishing it? I've been writing children's books lately. I might go ahead and publish those before I publish the novel I've been working on. Keep it up! Weeowl

Review of Show your heart
Rated: E | (5.0)
The beauty of the art of writing is that you don't have to know what you were writing about, but surprisingly, you create a message, a moment of entertainment, and something significant that one person needs to hear. What I believe you were writing about in this poem is that there is nothing wrong with showing LOVE. In fact, showing how you feel makes it that much more amazing! Wonderful! Write on! Weeowl

Review of Shots At Midnight

I'm speechless. Luckily, this is writing.com so I search my heart and I'm just awed by this play. It's chilling. You nailed the cycle of abuse incredibly. In this play, the cycle doesn't end. But it can right? I love the way you used flashbacks and emphasized the cycle with the mirroring dialogue in the present. All in all fantastic job! Now I need to go read something happy :P Write on! Review of Color Word Search
Rated: E | (5.0)
This was a very colorful! Most of the colors I knew, but there were some that were surprises for me. For instance cerulean. When I saw the title and description of this I thought about when I was little and i had a very awesome crayon set! :D I love that crayon set! Had every color here and then some! :D great job! Weeowl

This was a fun wordsearch. It's also good to see what words are being taught these days. i remember fondly my spelling list. Especially one list in particular in the seventh grade. It was about food and my teacher loved food so her enthusiasm made it easier to learn. It also made me hungry :) Weeowl
