This is beautiful. I honestly have no critique, but I am biased. It describes how I felt when my dog passed away a couple years ago, as well as my grandfather (minus the last stanza) a month ago. It’s beautiful. I can feel the pain, yet acceptance and compassion.
From what I can see in just this piece, your style is very relatable! Keep going!

Beautiful examples of imagery, and vivid pictures. However it’s difficult to follow. I felt as if it was rushed to get a message out. I would suggest breaking the stanzas down into simpler images, and trying to tie them into the next.
