The feeling of invading the peace of the night while walking home in silence...
A dog crying in the distance
The only sound to be heard
Bar the chatter of drunkards
Exchanging cross words...

The world is asleep now,
As indeed I should be,
The world nocturnal that is awake
Is totally ignorant of me...

Walking home at midnight
My steps invade its world as I pass
Trying to do so silently
By walking on the grass...
