A poem on what our world has become.
It has become a place...
Where hungry children are called beggars
How can we pass them without looking at their face?
Where the homeless are called bums.
Why from them we run?
And people dying from Aids are know as outcast.
How can we avoid them without knowing their past?

It has become a place...
Where it is unsafe for our children to walk the streets alone.
Are they safe to even be left at home?

It has become a place...
Where a helping hand is hard to come by.
This is something we cannot deny.
Where love is rarely shown.
Is this something we should condone?

It has become a place...
Of an uncaring and unloving human race.
