A poem of different style-how someone I met can somehow make the all pain go away.
A white light

pulsing

pounding

throbbing…that’s the word.

throbbing.

throbbing.

throbbing.

It engulfs everything.

All becomes nothing.

Washing over me like a horrid cleansing light.

and it never goes away

it never goes away

Sometimes the burning is so hard to see through

the real world is bleached out. I get lost in the nothingness

I can’t focus

I’m swimming…no…drowning.

Just as it fills my lungs and clutches my throat…

I meet you.

I can breathe.

When I’m with you

I can breathe.
