Kentucky is calling me back home again.

Beautiful Kentucky

My beautiful Kentucky home, let me see.
With its towering hills and fertile valleys.
Where honeysuckles grow wild and free.
Land of bluegrass far as the eye can see.

The home of the majestic thoroughbred.
Graze on the rich grass to become fed.
Where the Mason and Dixon line meets.
The red Cardinal lives in the locust tree.

Home to my youth when I was just a boy.
Sweet memories time will never destroy.
Kentucky I've loved you my beautiful state.
Such beautiful land only God could create.

So if time won't allow me to see you again.
I'll have sweet memories of you my friend.
I want to go home to Kentucky once more.
See again the fertile land I'll always adore.
