Morbid poem about...abuse?
Consumed, Destroyed, and Broken

Consumed are those with only sadness ruling their life.
Destroyed are those with a cruel hand forcing tears from their eyes.
Broken are those who let the tears pour in unrelenting waves down their cheeks,
Drowning themselves.
Consumed, destroyed, and then broken.
Nothing left but the darkness—to be filled with more tears.

Death. That seems the only answer.
By the rope or by the blade? Neither.
Sadness consumed, cruelness destroyed, and both broke them.
It was by your temper, by your words, and by your hand
Your daughter died.
Taken away by the ebbing tide.
